At the heart of the Sanderson™ is the Pulse Steam Technology™. Multiple steam jets are controlled by onboard software. The steam jets thoroughly steam-treat the hay load, applying varying pressures at intervals throughout each cycle. The process has been refined through rigorous temperature mapping, to ensure adequate pasteurisation, without excessive energy consumption.

The Sanderson™ hay steamer makes hay healthier. Steam pasteurisation controls harmful microbes, while dampening to reduce the number of airborne allergens, so they are no longer such a threat to the respiratory system. Steaming hay is known to reduce moulds and yeast by over 99%.*
