UNLOCK A RIDE THAT FEELS BALANCED, NATURAL & SAFE — WITH RYDE ADJUSTABLE STIRRUPS
Custom-fit stirrups that adapt to your body — for better balance, posture, comfort and control every ride.
Custom-fit stirrups that adapt to your body — for better balance, posture, comfort and control every ride.
Ryde lets you tweak key elements — footplate angle, lateral hang, stirrup leather attachment — so your stirrups align precisely with your natural biomechanics.
No more compromised seat or awkward posture because you’re forcing your body to fit a “one-size” stirrup.
With a wide, supportive footplate and the ability to set a neutral or custom tread angle, Ryde helps you maintain a centred seat and ideal alignment from heel → hip → shoulder.
That’s especially valuable when jumping, doing dressage work, or riding long sessions — stability becomes second nature.
Buy Now — Ride Better TodayAdjusting stirrups to your leg and foot position can reduce pressure on ankles, knees and hips — riders often report easier, more relaxed legs and less “locking up.”
The broad footplate and ergonomic design give real support underfoot, especially for riders with flexibility or alignment challenges.
It changed my riding in just 1 session. I felt so balanced and my feet completely stable which made my ankles soft and lower leg closer to the horse and more still which have really clear aids. Best investment of 2025 for any rider
Ryde’s 360° safe-release mechanism (outer branch will release regardless of fall direction) gives added security — reducing risk of foot entrapment.
Combine that with a stable, balanced seat and you ride with more confidence — especially when schooling, jumping or out hacking.
These are not basic stirrups — they’re engineered with biomechanics in mind, drawing on research from sports and ergonomics to deliver a stirrup system built to last and adapt as you ride.
Whether beginner or advanced, rider or pro — Ryde offers adjustments to suit evolving needs, meaning it can be your go-to stirrup for years.
I’ve always been “duck footed” when walking and under saddle on my very wide backed draft crosses I’ve always compensated my ankle stability in order to have my lower leg to be somewhat in the correct position (toes pointing forward). This has led to me overloading the outside of my foot, causing me quite a bit of foot and ankle pain. Had my first ride in Ryde stirrups today and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face. My big toe finally was making contact with my stirrups. I felt so secure and grounded in the saddle that I could have cried!! My sensitive mare could ever sense the difference and was moving so much more free.
In my first lesson riding in these I was able to sit deeper, sit more centrally and feel more secure in the saddle. What I like best is the ability to adjust L & R differently as I have learnt that most of us riders are slightly uneven.
The stirrups are amazing. Quality is fabulous. I feel so much more balanced and stable in the saddle. The service/attention to detail by Claire has been exemplary. Rarely do you get this sort of service! Claire went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and comfortable with the stirrup set up. Yes, the price point does make them a considered purchase however, given the safety/stability they provide I consider them worth every penny.
I have a weaker right ankle/arch so bought these to help absorb my asymmetry – and they feel like they’re working 🙂 They’re also on the journey with me. . . I can easily adjust as things shift physically. They are also super comfortable, weighty (in a good way) and secure under foot. A happy customer 🙂
Triple-direction adjustability: footplate angle, lateral hang, leather attachment — customise stirrup geometry to your body.
Wide, supportive, slightly concave footplate: gives full contact under foot, clear support under heel and forefoot, helping activate core muscles and improve balance.
Grip and outsole design: studded footplate + drainage holes ensure grip and stability in all conditions — ideal for unpredictable footing.
Magnetic safety-release outer arm: releases the outer stirrup branch in a fall — regardless of direction — providing enhanced safety over traditional stirrups.
Durable materials & build: built to withstand long-term, heavy use across disciplines (dressage, jumping, hacking, everyday schooling).
1) I love the 3 way adjustability, and the stability of the wider treads. For me personally I feel they have helped me keep my lower leg more under me, and I have more stability, whilst still maintaining good effectiveness with my leg.
2) I would recommend them as I have clearly felt the benefits in my own riding. Their unique adjustability also means they can be altered to help with asymmetries and those who maybe struggle with knee and hip tightness etc.
Ryde isn’t a “set and forget” stirrup — it’s built to adapt. You can fine-tune it to:
Your foot’s natural angle
Your leg length and hip alignment
Discipline: flatwork, jumping, hacking
Rider quirks or asymmetries
Once set up it gives you a secure, natural base — and the flexibility to re-adjust anytime your body or discipline demands change.
See what customer Jayne Sandford had to say – she was reluctant to buy Ryde’s for well over a year, but hear her experiences after trying them through her saddler… ***Spoiler – she purchased a pair!
Choose Ryde if you:
Want to fine-tune your seat, leg and balance
Experience knee, ankle or hip strain from riding
Ride different disciplines (dressage, jumping, hacking)
Value safety and stability as much as performance
Are working on symmetry, alignment or rehabilitation
Prefer quality, longevity and adjustability in your tack
Whether you’re hobby-level or competing, Ryde adapts — it doesn’t force you to adapt to it.
